Beauty Lust: Lip Balm

I first came across Lucas Paw Paw whilst living on Bondi beach, in Sydney. On the weekends, I would go for a run along the beautiful coastline to Bronte beach passing the iconic Icebergs, a trendy hang out with amazing lap pool (worth a peek just for that!). The run is around 6 kms there and back, and every time my nose would get a little sunburnt. Similar to vaseline, I had only used the ointment for my chapped lips. But after my cheeks got a little red, I found what a great remedy it was to soothe mild sunburns too.

When I left Australia, trying to get hold of it was a little trickier; so for the longest time I was Lucas PawPaw-less. However,  just the other week when I walked into my local Ricky’s store to pick up hair wax for the RTH (aka the reluctant traveling husband), the bright red packaging was staring directly at me from the shelf, like a beaming light. I held myself back from buying the entire collection!

If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s similar to vaseline but made with just one natural ingredient: fermented papaya. It comes in a tube or tub. The tubes are small enough to slip into your handbag.

In the last couple of years I've also noticed celebrities like Cara Delevigne, Alexa Chung, and Canadian model Kate King applying it to their perfect pouts. If it's good enough for them, then it's good enough for us!

What beauty product have you found that you can't get anywhere else?
